The Tenzing Hillary Trail – Umakunda – Dudhkunda – Tate;  in the Upper Ramechhap and Everest region is an extraordinary trek that offers trekkers a rare opportunity to enter into the Everest region experiencing the off-the beaten trails and also following the foot-prints of Late Tenzing N. Sherpa and Edmund Hilary, in some sections of the trail that remained neglected for about 70 years.

The new trail will also serve as a window to briefly observe the still pristine valley of Likhu River and can be combined with the round-the year trek to Pikey, Junbesi and Tapting from Dudhkunda – Sahastradhara areas.
